Hosting
Please read these conditions carefully and make sure that you both understand and agree to what's written here, before you apply for hosting.
I am Hosting
- Personal sites or blogs.
- Fanlistings or Cliques.
- Review Sites or Webdirectories.
- Fanlistings which are also shrines.
- Collectivies or Fanlisting Collectives.
- Small shrines.
- Large Shrines.
- Graphic Sites.
- Art Collectivies.
- Hate Listings.
- Anything sites that has anything illegal, such as MP3, WAV or Midi files. No radio blogs or anything like any zip files.
- Any sites that have things such as porn, hate, pop-ups, or anything like that.
- All versions of B2, Cutenews, PHP Fanbase, Flinx, FormMail (FormMail,cgi, FormMail.php, FormMail.pl, etc), and Greymatter are NOT allowed.
The Rules
- Your site much fit into the section of what I am hosting.
- Your site must be in English.
- You can be hosted on Hyuuga.nu or Gypsy-Rose.org.
- I will host small shrines, as long as there are no mp3 or other types of media files and any large image files are stored somewhere such as photobuckets or via a sponsor. No zip files, either.
- You must have good site design.
- You must have a site online in order for me to see what you can do.
- Please no Net language or like that, it gives me a headache.
- No illegal stuff like Mp3 or any kinds of music or the other type.
- You must know FTP, I can help you but you need to know a bit at least.
- No large files like bitmap (.bmp), if I find any I will delete them.
- I will not host large shrines, Mp3 rotations, Neopets, etc.
- Do not go over your size limit.
- B2 and Cutenews are no longer allowed, the spam got too much, neither is greymatter allowed. If you use something like Wordpress or fan update you must ensure you are always using the latest version.
- If you run a fanlisting, and would like to use a script, I would prefer that you use Enth3, Bellabuffs or vs.hive, I am afraid PHP fanbase is not allowed. Ask me before installing if you are unsure. Any other types of scripts must be okayed by me first.
- Chat programs are NOT allowed
- You must link back to Sap-a-Licious.net
- You must have a last updated date.
- If I find out you have stolen content on your site, I will delete your account immediately.
- You must update at LEAST once a month (unless you've told me before).
- If I send an acceptance form, please respond to my email within 2 days, if you don't I will delete your account. After that you have up to 2 weeks to get the site up, unless we have a prior agreement.
- You must make regular back-ups of your site, I am not responsible for the recovery of lost data. I do try to back up the datbases as often as I can.
- No porn, hentai or hate sites permitted.
- Encourage no direct linking, please.
- Keep in contact with me, either by sending me an email once a month or adding me to MSN. I like to keep in contact with my hostees. Email me for my MSN email.
- In the "Anything else" box, please add the word "starnight" to show me that you've read the rules! If this is not included, I will delete your application!
What you get
- For Blogs 5-10 MB.
- For fanlisting collectives and personal sites and other sites 5-15 MB.
- Shrines up to 20MB
- Fanlistings up to 5MB or 20MB if they are to be a shrine.
- Your own private FTP account.
- Enough bandwidth.
- Cgi-bin.
- MySQL access. If you want to use wordpress, enth3, etc., I can set up a database for you.
- Help installing any script.
- If you need a database then I will email the username and password for you.
- Me!!
- Your own email forward, if you like. I cannot set up forwards to any hotmail, yahoo or aol addresses. Sorry my host does not allow it.
Just a note, if you break any of these conditions, I may delete your site without warning. I email all accepted hostees within a week or so.
